«THEORY AND PRACTICE OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT IN EDUCATION: HORIZONS AND RISKS»
using remote technology
Date: 04/17/2020
In the modern world, the elements of project management are increasingly being used in the activities of state, municipal and commercial organizations. Educational organizations are no exception.
The project activity is based on the developed series of standards:
International Standard «International Competence Baseline of the International Project Management Association» (ICB IPMA), the updated version of which was put into effect in 2006 and includes technical, behavioral and contextual competencies;
National American Standard «A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge» (PMBOK®) which contains professional knowledge about the project management process;
Russian state standard GOST R 54 869−2011 which contains requirements for any projects carried out by individuals and legal entities grouped by management processes (initiation, planning, organization of execution, control and completion).
Project management in education is effective and it is able to integrate quickly into the developing and changing conditions of the educational environment.
Project management is not opposed to traditional management systems, but supplements them. It allows you to solve individual applied problems with a creative component. Project management’s aim is to achieve the desired result in unstable conditions.
A vivid example of the implementation of project management in educational practice is the technical tasks for performing state work on relevant topics, when temporary research teams are created to carry out the task with an unambiguous statement of goals, objectives and expected results for a certain period of time with a strictly limited resource.
The aim of our conference is to consider the prospects for the implementation of project management in the practice of educational activities and to take into account the risks Associated with this process.
Conference directions:
- status and prospects of modern education digitalization;
- project management of higher education;
- project management of school;
- project management of preschool education.
